Javier SOLANA,
EU High Representative for the CFSP,
strongly condemns terrorist attacks in Amman

Javier Solana, European Union High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy, issued today the following statement after many people were today killed and injured in several attacks in Amman:

"I strongly condemn the terrorist attacks that left today many people killed and injured in Amman.

My thoughts are now with the victims and their families and with the Jordanian Government and people. I want to send a message of sympathy and condolences to His Majesty King Abdallah II.

The devastation that terrorist madness had provoked today among innocent people is unjustifiable.

Terrorism is an aggression to the values shared by all of us."
