The upcoming seminar titled "Medical and Therapeutic Tourism Potential in Egypt" is the culmination of a year's work by an EU-sponsored international team of medical tourism experts, with collaboration of a counterpart team from the Egyptian Tourism Authority, who were given a mandate to study Egypt's potential as a medical and therapeutic destination.
This seminar will be held under the patronage of H.E. Mr. Zoheir Garana, Egyptian Minister of Tourism and H.E. Ambassador Dr. Klaus Ebermann, Head of the EU Delegation in Egypt.
Nine international speakers from Germany, Austria, Sweden and Tunisia will address the seminar, which will discuss the various aspects of this fast growing sector of international tourism. Egypt's potential as a medical and therapeutic tourism destination will also be addressed.
The medical tourism seminar coincides with current efforts to diversify Egypt's tourism product and increase Egypt's share of regional incoming tourism.
